My own experience with this project was great. I visited France and everything was brilliant: the host family's kindness, the village and all the activities. In fact, they permitted us to learn a lot about the other countries involved (Germany, Finland, Turkey, Poland and France) but always with fun and sharing information each other. So a lot of deep relationships could rise among all students and teachers making the time spent together more and more interesting. In particular, the workshops were focused on these two points - relationships and sharing of knowledge- perfectly combined.
The trips in France have been unusual, like the one to the quarry, but very interesting, or the one to Lion. I particularly enjoyed that trip because of the very well organized guide tour in the city, to the roman theatre and to the Cathedral.
I'm still in contact with some students met in France, including the French girl who accomodated me there and probably I will also stay another week in Bourgoin- Jallieu this summer.

Our
trip to France was everything that we expected! The welcome to the families and
to the school was extremely warm. French hospitality is really beyond
compairing. We had so much fun with families and we learned much about the
culture.
The activities were also well planned. Halle Bocuse
was so nice place that we want that in Finland too! To us Finns the mountains
were the best thing, because we don't have mountains in Finland. Also the
quided tour in Lyon was great. We learned important things about the areas
history. Basically we liked everything about the trip and we learned really
much about culture and language. But still the most important thing to us was
making of new friends! And we want to thank all of the people partisipating
this trip. We had fun!
Sincerely

GERMANY
The sixth COMENIUS meeting which was the first one for
everybody in the German team was a great experience! We learnt a lot about the
daily life in a French family within a few days, e.g. French people use a bowl
for drinking J.
It was amazing to see how fast six completely
different countries connected in such a short time.
We are better informed now about the importance of ground
resources in our partner schools and in particular in the area of
Bourgoin-Jallieu. Thanks for the visit in a quarry! We are convinced that we are more aware of
saving resources and the meaning of clean water.
We were happy to realize that our language skills
improved while working together and communicating in the families.
One highlight was our trip to Lyon: The tasting of
“macarons” in the “Halles Bocuse” was fantastic! We are sure that there is much
more to discover. But unfortunately, the six days passed so fast. We will never
forget these days and hopefully we will have the opportunity to come back! Thank
you for everything – it was awesome!
POLAND
The week in
France was amazing!
We got to know
new, nice people. Our hosts were very friendly, kind and they show us their
culture, food and habits. We saw a lot of monuments and interesting places e.g.
the old part of Lyon, the Town Hall in Bourgoin – Jallieu. We also had some fun
with people from other countries and we could practice our English. For each of
us this meeting was a really big adventure and a memory for the whole life.
We will miss our
new friends and hosts and we’ll never forget about time we spent in France!
Thank you very
much for everything! And we hope we will see again!
